The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat can pride itself on possessing one of the most spectacular wine collections in the world:
150 vintages of Château d’Yquem, dating from 1854 to 2003, that is 141 sublime and extraordinarily rare bottles of the largest and most important collection of dessert wines in the world.
The collection includes nine empty bottles signed by the Director of Yquem, which represent the years when there was no wine production due to adverse weather conditions.
This unique collection of quite exceptional vintages was supplemented, in October 2007, by 38 bottles of Château Lafite Rothschild, from 1799 to 2003 including classical 75cl bottles, magnums and imperial.
These two exceptional collections, one spanning three centuries and the other four, are exhibited in the "Salon des Collections" next to the gourmet restaurant “Le Cap”... The dining room can be reserved for private dinners, wine tastings...
